MY CITY//MY STREETS//BubbleGum Alley, CA

Welcome to this week's edition of MY CITY//MY STREETS. This week we take a trip over to California, for my friend Christina's favorite street. 

Christina is an avid traveller, and has had the opportunity to move and live in a few different places here in the USA. Originally from New York, she lived in a few different cities in California and now lives in my building here in Houston, TX. Although she has been lucky enough to visit many interesting places, this street sticks out in her mind.

San Luis Obispo, California

I lived in California for two thrilling years, and while living in Monterey a group of friends and I road tripped to San Luis Obispo to celebrate a friend's birthday. While touring historic downtown, we all left our mark on famous bubblegum alley. Bubblegum Alley is 70 ft. long and 15 ft high. It's just a random place where people stick their old bubblegum. My pictures of that filthy, fun, colorful alley will always remind me of that vibrant, celebratory weekend in the California sun.
