//We'll Drink a Cup of Kindness Yet For Auld Lang Syne//

Above are some of my high points from 2013. From our travels, to our dog, all of my writing joys and successes,  kisses, snuggles and art, AND to all of the wonderful memories with my smokin' hot husband.

In January of 2013, Terrence and I were walking around a cemetery right by our apartment here in Houston. We were talking about our dreams. I told him that I would love to write and teach yoga. I told him that doing those things to make a living would be marvelous, they would make me joyful, that they were what I thought I was meant to do. To spread my love for stories and writing to others, to bring people peace through yoga. To love my own body more after spending a good deal of my life obsessing over its flaws.

So, here we are, about to plunge off the edge of 2013 in to 2014. And, I have accomplished all of my 2013 goals. It feels...surreal. I have this blog that keeps getting read.  I teach yoga classes that bring me as much peace as my students. My second book is not only available online but in a REAL store.

It's amazing what you can do when you work your ass off. ( and HOPE HOPE HOPE, and send positive vibes, and post about it on Facebook incessantly.)

But, I'm not done yet.
I have miles to go before I sleep. And in 2014 I have laid out my goals. For the first time ever, number one on my resolutions isn't "lose weight". Small victories. Instead, I am focusing more on things like, correct posture, kindness, thinking before I open my mouth, learning new languages, writing more, spending more loving time with my family. Stuff that matters.

I hope your 2013 was wonderful, and if it wasn't,  here's to 2014 holding more happiness and light for you.

Thanks for reading/supporting/everything. Without the people reading/commenting/discussing this blog and my ideas, I never would have had the courage to keep it up. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the moxie to pull my dreams off.

Namaste y'all xx
